A meeting was held between the delegation led by the Rector of the Rezekne Academy of the Riga Technical University Iveta Mietule and the representatives of the management of the institute led by the Rector of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service Muhiddin Pulatov.

During the meeting, the long-term cooperation between the two higher education institutions, changes in recent years, and future plans were discussed.

In particular, special attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, such as "Key Action", "Capacity Building", the organization of advanced training courses, acceleration of startups, and scientific cooperation (collaboration of scientists).

An agreement was also reached to establish regular exchanges between professors, teachers, and employees in the areas of scientific and advanced training.
