Today, cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the field of education is developing steadily. Close cooperation has been established between the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service and the G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University.

Since 2020, joint educational programs have been organized in cooperation between these two higher educational institutions, and about 450 students are currently studying in them. Specialists in finance, economics and tourism are being trained on the basis of the 3 + 1 program.

The Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service is a key higher educational institution in the tourism sector, training competitive personnel in accordance with international requirements.
