JOINT APPEAL aimed at calling on parents and educators to be aware of the negative consequences of drug addiction and drug-related crimes

Dear young people, caring parents, and esteemed teachers!

A child is the dearest blessing a person has in this world. To be a parent is a great happiness. That is why parents cherish their children as the apple of their eye and protect them. They make a shield of their own chest to defend their child from any misfortune that approaches. Spiritually mature sons and daughters, knowing this well, hold their beloved parents in the highest esteem and treasure them. 

Dear friends!

In our time, there are many threats that target young people. One of them is the scourge of drug addiction. Unfortunately, in our country too, some young people become involved in this vice, knowingly or unknowingly, seeking temporary "pleasure" or hoping to earn easy money, and thereby ruin their own future. Let us rise to protect our children from this scourge. Otherwise, it will destroy not only the health of our young people, but also future families and even the future of society as a whole. Therefore, each of us must fight firmly and in unity against this vice.

Your sound thinking, strong will, and thirst for knowledge are the foundation of our country's future. Never deceive yourselves by saying "I will try it just once." Do not forget that narcotic substances are a poison that corrodes your life and a vice that steals tomorrow's dreams. Drug addiction and drug-related crime bring misfortune to every person and their family. They undermine the peace and stability of the whole society.

Respected parents!

Let us be attentive to our children! Let us show them care and affection every day. Let us communicate openly with them, listen to them, and stay informed about their problems. Let us teach young people good qualities, how to give up bad habits, and how to distinguish right from wrong. If their hearts are filled with affection, trust, and spirituality, they will never stray from the right path.

To protect our loved ones from the scourge of drug addiction, we must all be vigilant and alert and fight together.

Your role in educating the younger generation is incomparable. Promoting a healthy lifestyle in educational institutions and conveying the negative consequences of drug addiction to the minds of young people is an urgent task today. Every lesson and every conversation should awaken sound thinking and a sense of responsibility in young hearts. We must protect our students as we protect our own children!

Let us all unite! Let us take an uncompromising and resolute stance toward drug criminals, who are traitors to the nation, and actively assist law enforcement agencies in combating them.
