Cooperation Established between the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service and Bahria University

A delegation headed by Retired Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq, Rector of Bahria University of Pakistan, paid an official visit to the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service. As part of the visit, an official meeting was held at the Institute, attended by the Institute's leadership and officials responsible for international cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to develop cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research, including the exchange of students and faculty members, joint research, internships, and the organization of summer and winter schools.

To'lqin Sharipov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, stated:
"By expanding cooperation with Pakistan's leading universities, the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service strives to create international opportunities for our students. The ties established with Bahria University will further broaden the geography of our cooperation."

For his part, Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq said:
"Bahria University was founded by the Pakistan Navy in 1995 and today has more than 23,000 students, over 130 educational programs, and more than 75 international cooperation projects. This cooperation with Uzbekistan will take relations between the two countries in the fields of education and science to a new level."
