ADDRESS OF THE RECTOR OF THE SAMARKAND INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND SERVICE

Dear students, respected parents, and esteemed teachers!

In today's rapidly changing world, threats that affect the minds of young people, especially vices such as drug addiction and drug-related crime, pose a serious danger to the development of society, the well-being of families, and the destiny of future generations.

For this reason, at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, fostering vigilance, awareness, spiritual immunity, and a firm civic position among young people has always been a priority task.

Dear students!
You are the pride of our institute, the future of our country, and the determined and knowledgeable builders of our future economic development. Never fall for the deception of "just trying it once won't hurt." Do not forget that narcotic substances are not a temporary "pleasure" but a poison that derails an entire life. Sound thinking, firm willpower, and a thirst for knowledge will protect you from any vice.

Respected parents!
The fate of our children is the greatest responsibility for all of us. Showing them affection, staying aware of their daily lives, and listening to their thoughts and problems is the strongest shield for protecting them from the scourge of drug addiction. If their hearts hold trust, spirituality, and a firm stance in life, they will never go astray.

Esteemed teachers and mentors!

Raising the younger generation as well-rounded individuals depends on your selfless work. Every lesson, every conversation, and every piece of advice should strengthen in young people's minds a healthy lifestyle, a sense of responsibility, and patriotism. Our students are tomorrow's accomplished specialists. Protecting them, guiding them, and warning them is the duty of us all.

Dear friends!

The fight against drug addiction is not only the task of state bodies or educational institutions. It is the shared responsibility of every parent, every teacher, and every citizen. The formation of an uncompromising attitude toward this vice in our society, and our united efforts to protect young people, will safeguard the future.

Today, it is more important than ever to unite and demonstrate a firm position on the path to building a peaceful and healthy society.

❗️Remember! The bright future of the New Uzbekistan depends on the vigilance, unity, and responsible actions of all of us.
