ADDRESS BY THE RECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE.
Dear students, respected parents, and esteemed teachers!
In today's rapidly changing world, threats affecting the minds of young people, especially vices such as drug addiction and drug-related crime, pose a serious danger to the development of society, the well-being of families, and the fate of future generations.
For this reason, at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, fostering vigilance, awareness, spiritual immunity, and a firm civic position among young people has always been a priority task.
Dear students!
You are the pride of our institute, the future of our country, and the determined and knowledgeable builders of our future economic development. Never be deceived by the notion of "just trying it once." Do not forget that narcotic substances are not a temporary "pleasure" but a poison that destroys one's entire life. Sound thinking, strong will, and a thirst for knowledge will protect you from any vice.
Respected parents!
The fate of our children is the greatest responsibility for all of us. Showing them affection, staying informed about their daily lives, and listening to their thoughts and problems are the strongest shield against the scourge of drug addiction. If their hearts are filled with trust, spirituality, and a firm stance in life, they will never go astray.
Esteemed teachers and mentors!
Raising the younger generation as well-rounded individuals depends on your selfless work. Every lesson, every conversation, and every piece of advice should strengthen the feelings of a healthy lifestyle, responsibility, and patriotism in the minds of young people. Our students are the accomplished specialists of tomorrow. It is the duty of all of us to protect them, guide them, and keep them alert to dangers.
Dear friends!
The fight against drug addiction is not only the task of state bodies or educational institutions. It is the shared responsibility of every parent, every teacher, and every citizen. The formation of an uncompromising attitude toward this vice in our society and our united efforts to protect young people will safeguard the future.
Today, uniting and demonstrating a resolute position on the path to building a peaceful and healthy society is more important than ever.
❗️Remember! The bright future of New Uzbekistan depends on the vigilance, unity, and responsible actions of us all.
