A preventive event was held at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service on the occasion of December 1 – World AIDS (HIV) Day.

At the event, Z. Rahimova and I. Ibragimova, staff members of the Laboratory Department of the Samarkand Regional AIDS Prevention Center, gave the participants a detailed introduction to the prevention of AIDS (HIV) infection, its modes of transmission, the consequences of the disease, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

During the meeting, students were given practical and useful recommendations on paying careful attention to their own health, refraining from harmful habits, and fostering a healthy environment in society.
